Strengths: Powerful steam function, Heavy enough for effective ironing yet very easy to control
Weaknesses: Must poor water into iron very slowly and carefully
Summary: I am very satisfied with this iron. I appreciate the option of upright and horizontal steaming. There is a little water spritzer feature that allows for removal of tough wrinkles. This is of great use to me as I often over-dry my clothes and am left with lots of stubborn wrinkles. A nifty little water pitcher is included for easy water filling, but the hole in which to poor the water is very small. One must poor slowly and carefully, tilting the iron to just the right angle. But the small hole is also beneficial as I have not experienced any water spilling out whilst steaming horizontally. Overall, I love this iron and highly recommend it.

Strengths: It irons quickly and easily and doesn't make ironing seem so much of a "chore."
Weaknesses: Must pour water in carefully; no "off" switch
Summary: I LIKE this iron. It's easy to use, has a great steam feature for either vertical or horizontal steam, and makes ironing seem like it's not so much of a chore. Two things, though...as others have noted, the chamber for the water is very small so you have to pour the water in very slowly and carefully. Also, there's no "off" switch per se; I think that if you turn the dial all the way, it shuts the iron off, but haven't quite figured it out yet. I just unplug mine to be sure. The iron is a good weight; not too heavy so that you get tired before the ironing is done but heavy enough to press out the wrinkles fast. All in all, a good investment. I'm glad I bought it.

Strengths: Great spray and steam mechanism and I really like the feature that turns itself off if it is left on.
Weaknesses: Can't think of any.
Summary: This is my second Rowenta iron. I broke the other heel plate by knocking it off my ironing board (more than once), but I am going to get the first one fixed also. I didn't want to be without an iron so I ordered another. I am very happy with the service.

Strengths: Heats up really fast.
Weaknesses: No off switch.
Summary: I just recently brought this iron after looking around. This is a good iron. I tested it by ironing a shirt, at first it didn't look like the iron was working(because I forgot to put the water in) after that I gave it a whirl and it perfectly ironed my shirt. There is no real off switch you need to take the plug out if you want to turn it off. Otherwise at the price I brought it for this iron is perfect.

Strengths: Burst of steam. Extra cup to fill water.
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: This is a good quality Iron. I bought it because of the name Rowenta. One thing to keep in mind is that this model is on the lower end of their offering and made in China. But still it is good quality stuff. Especially if you want a good iron without spending a lot on it.

The burst of steam is quite effective and helpful in removing tough wrinkles on cotton stuff.

Summary: I can't really say if rowenta is a good quality iron or not. This is my 3rd rowent in the last 12 years. I get them on sale and am pretty happy. NOt sure if $14 irons do the job or last longer. I can only compare to shark iron and that was a junk.
