 Limited compatability? Strengths: Seems to be a well made stand with a nice design
Weaknesses: Apparently can only be used with 2 specific Pioneer Plasma TV 4340hd and 5040HD
Summary: This looked like a very nice stand -- perfect for waht I needed for my Syntax Olevia LT37HVS Tv. No information was available from Pioneer or their web site. After checking many web sites and user reviews, it seemed that it was designed to work at least with "43 and 50 inch Plasma TVs". I called and checked with at least 3 vendors -- Plasma Select, Beyond Plasma and Beach Camera. In all cases (including by email in the case of Plasma Select) I was told that the stand would work with the Syntax -- and specifically with VESA 200 connectors.
Hmm -- so I order it from Beachcamera.
It turns out that there is no way to make this work with any other TVs than thos ementioned above, and the literature on the web sites is not clear about it.
Hope this review helps others not to make this mistake
