Strengths: Very smooth throughout their entire frequency response range. Ultra-easy to drive. Look GREAT and very simple to install.
Weaknesses: Pricy. Should be run as 'small' with subwoofer support in Hometheater applications.
Summary: I've had these for a couple years and they still put a smile on my face. They out perform almost all bookshelf speakers well above their price range and many tower speakers. I drive them with my Pioneer Elite 100 wpc receiver and they seem to handle the extra power (even at very high volume levels) with no sign of strain or distortion. I DO suggest using a warm receiver or amps to drive these babies, otherwise they could sound a little thin in the mid to high frequencies or turn toward the bright side of the force.
