Strengths: Very quiet liquid cooled computer coupled with a remarkably fast Intel dual core 930 chip, along with terrific specifications all around for the price.
Weaknesses: None to speak of, but the start-up instructions could be better. The Norton security software should be shut down during initial start up, because it interferes with the installation of legitimate sof
Summary: This is an excellent computer for photography, video entertainment and all of the other basic software applications. A TV tuner and remote control are included. I had considered purchasing the Sony VAIO VGC-RC110G desktop, which was the predecessor to this PC, which was released last year and sold out. The RC210G has the same excellent case, which is both stylish and very sturdy; the hard drive was upgraded from 250 GB to 320 GB; and the keyboard and mouse were upgraded to Sony wireless. Sony does not get into customization, like some of its competitors, but overall, this is a great product, very high end and a terrific value.

Strengths: Super Quiet, 7-in-1 Multimedia card
Weaknesses: I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY > All reviews say higher than average power consumption?
Summary: This Vaio has a great deal of processing power, which runs most high-end applications without any problems. Vaio's ATI Radeon X 300 graphics's card performs well. Seven USB connections, two S-Video ports, 2 composite video ports & a parallel printer port--making it very peripheral-compatible. And so what, if it takes a few more watts to run an otherwise perfect desktop !

Strengths: very, very fast, very , quiet- It's A Sony!
Weaknesses: not that of know of yet! except it can use a better video card!
Summary: This is my third computor since January, 2006. I had two Gateway computors, and they were terrible. Even though you may pay more for a Sony product, it is really worth it.

Strengths: 1GB memory and fast processor to run all of the new programs. Plenty of USB ports, memory card slot, AV hookups. This offers a great deal for those who are media hungry.
Weaknesses: Include the manual in the box instead of having to go to website.
Summary: For those wanting to run all of the newest software, burn dvds and cds, use MS Office programs, and really get into Windows Media Center 2005, this is it. Fast processor and good amount of memory. Nice remote control. Add at least a 19" flat panel to make this a nice additional tv. The Sony 19" flat panel works beautifully with this.

Strengths: Fast, Quiet, All the inputs/outputs you should need. Two outputs (RGB/DVI). All set up for media center. Great for multitasking. Quick rendering for video editing.
Weaknesses: No HD burner. 300 GB HD space. 1 GB RAM
Summary: I bought this primarily to do Video editing, and it has worked great. I added an additional 1GB RAM (2 total), and added some more Hard Drive space. PC is very fast, and I haven't had any problems making Video DVD's. I just added some HD editing software, and it seems to work great. SONY/Widows just sent me a free Vista upgrade. I haven't had time to install it, but the PC should be even better with Vista.

I would recommend the PC or one similar for the price point. I compared it to HP, and DELL, and this PC seemed to give me more bang for the buck. Even after adding memory and storage, it is still less pricey than other similar products.

SONY tech support is good too. The website has a lot of update information.
