Strengths: Great sound for such a small stereo, nice front display, good sounding surround sound effect, AUX inputs
Weaknesses: No digital input or output, lower than average FM reception
Summary: Picked this unit up for only $45 US to replace a Sony stereo boombox that was only a year old but broke (CDs won't play anymore). The size is nice and small to fit into any area, and the sound quality is absolutely amazing. All the available sound options (Classic, Rock, Jazz) accent the music beautifully. Hooked it up to my TV and it works as a great 2 speakers surround sound system. Only downfall to the unit is that it does not have any digital inputs/outputs (for hooking up DVD player/minidisc out) and the FM antenna is mandatory to receive any kind of signal. With both of these mentioned, neither take away from the system to cause any problems. Simply put, its a great system for an insanely low price. Highly recommended.
