Strengths: Best Bang for the Buck 19" LCD monitor! Both Analog, and Digital connectors. Long Power Cord. Longer than average monitor cables. Quality picture. Simple controls. Very Bright. Thin bezel.
Weaknesses: Doesn't swivel left/right, only up/down. Sits a little too high off of base, and can't be adjusted. A little tricky to attach cords to the monitor, be patient--you only have to do this once anyway.

"Manual! We don't need to read no stinkin' Manual!"
(It does come with a manual and drivers, but you won't need to read it, it's that simple to use.)
This monitor has a classic, very professional, and refined look. Its intuitive controls are easily accessible, but not gaudy looking. It's bezel appears darker in person than depicted in the online photo, which I think caught some camera flash. (It looks kind of like Lead, or a little darker.) So if your PC, mouse, and keyboard are black, your monitor WILL look like it belongs.
Remember when shopping for LCD monitors that 19" means viewable area (unlike Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT) monitors, where 19" includes the width of the bezel). So this monitor is very large indeed. Thankfully the front bezel isn't that wide, like on some LCDs so nearly the whole size of this monitor is viewable area.
Would I buy it again?
In a heart beat. BenQ might be a relatively unknown brand for some people. However, I've purchased two different BenQ models now, and both have impressed me when compared to higher-priced and better-known brands.
[ADDENDUM 2005-02-24] For the past few days I have been working on rebuilding a customer's PC, attached to this monitor along with my own PC. In other words, you can connect two PCs to this monitor at once! One PC must connect via D-Sub (analog), and the other must connect via DVI (digital). You can simply use the monitor's Miscellaneous > Input Priority setting to switch between the two PCs. It works like a charm, and without switching cables.
