Strengths: It has a very sharp image and seamless detail that is easy on the eyes.

Weaknesses: No weaknesses that I have seen.

Summary: There was a big difference going from a 20ms response time LCD to this one with a 16ms time. The contrast from a 420:1 to this model being 500:1 in no comparison. The monitor arrived in two days and I could no be happier with the pice and service.

Strengths: Space saving, built-in speakers, display

Weaknesses: the ability to tilt the screen sideways

Summary: For our first flat screen LCD, we researched for a few days and settled on the BenQ monitor.

We needed a monitor with built-in speakers [for compatiblity with our multi-media keyboard]that was made from a quality manufacturer and had a nice display.

This monitor fit the characteristics we were looking for.

For the price range it fit in, this is also the only monitor we found with a 500:1 contrast ratio.

We love this BenQ monitor and will be looking to purchase other BenQ products in the future.

I was looking for an LCD monitor with a large scre ...

Strengths: Great for video. Sharp image. Stylish & compact design. Built-in speakers.

Weaknesses: Built-in speakers are not so powerful, but that should be expected.

Summary: I was looking for an LCD monitor with a large screen but small physical dimensions. At less than 17" tall, this one fits neatly under a shelf which prevents me from getting a larger monitor. In spite of its small size, it has built-in speakers. The monitor is great for watching videos -- I have watched several hour long movies.

I was originally looking for a white or beige monitor to match my computer system. I was a bit reluctant to buy this one due to the colors, but it turns out that the mix of white, silver and purple used in this monitor is quite stylish, so I am happy with my choice.

Strengths: Great appearance; Good screen; Easy to operate; Good value; Great warranty

Weaknesses: Poor instruction manual.

Summary: This is a neat monitor that looks great and is a vast improvement over my old CRT. The styling will match most system colors (other than black). Very pleased and would buy again.

I would highly recommend this 17" LCD monitor for ...

Strengths: Very clear and crisp display. Excellent color. Nice styling with attractive 2-tone colors. Fantastic 3-year warranty.

Weaknesses: A little higher in price than some other monitors I looked at, but it seems to be well worth the difference.

Summary: I would highly recommend this 17" LCD monitor for many reasons... Its looks are really good and it performs even better! I sure like the idea of having such a great 3-year manufacturer warranty behind this product also!
