Strengths: Accurate timing, multiple alarms, sports watch function, 30 city world time, 30-page databank, long life battery
Weaknesses: Some surface parts are made by using plastic
Summary: 2006-02-02 22:21:45 Overall speaking it is an awesome watch with affordable price. It does not look like that robust as other all metallic watches but it is well worth the money you paid for (less than 30 bucks). If you are looking for a nice watch for your outdoor sports and casual wear but are not willing to pay hundreds of bucks for Seiko or Citizen, this is the perfect one. It is light-weighted and has almost the sports functions you need including 50 meter water resistance. The 30 city world time actually helps me a lot on the travels although the 30-page data bank may not be that convenience like using cellular phone or Palm PCs. And the 10-year battery life will save you from the headaches on changing batteries for quite a while. What should you expect and say? This is definitely an overvalued beautiful watch

Strengths: LOOKS, COUNTDOWN FEATURE
Weaknesses: PLASTIC LENS CAN SCRATCH EASILY
Summary: IMPORTANT!!! This will bless many of you. First- to make the bracelet fit, you probably will have to remove a link or two. Google"watch band sizing", go to the site "how to resize the most common bracelets" the go to "casio" and it shows you how to do it!! Second- I did scratch the lense but I had "liquid lense" which is suppose to remove scratches from eye glasses. This did fill in the scratches and made it look new again. I like the watch and would buy it again.

Strengths: Long life battery (10 year), 2 alarms, DST capable, stop-watch and multiple time zones.
Weaknesses: Setting the time once received.
Summary: I like the long life battery (10 years) though I have not tested the life. The watch I bought this to replace went through 1 battery every year. I like the automatic calendar so you don't have to adjust the date every month. The only dislike I have so far is that you have to set the time three times: 1. Analog 2. Digital and 3. World time. Setting one time does not update the other two times. Though this should only need to be performed at purchase and battery change (hopefully once every 10 years).

3 Star ReviewDecent value for money
Strengths: Good set of features for its price
Weaknesses: Plastic dial which is prone to scratches
Summary: Got this watch from amazon for around 20$ + S/H. It turned out to be slightly below expectations in terms of build quality. Although, the metallic strap is quite robust, the quality of dial leaves a lot to be desired. The dial is made up of plastic and is easily prone to scratches.

The watch is quite good in terms of feature set. In my opinion the best among them is world time. Really comes in handy if you travel a lot or regularly interact with people on different time zones. The other usual features are a stop watch, count down timer, alarms and telememo.

I felt that the alarm is pretty useless since it's barely audible. Telememo is a nice to have feature to keep important phone number during emergency.

The backlight is not up to the mark since it doesn't light up the dial evenly. Using different features will take up a day to get used to but that's fine I guess.

Overall a decent watch for it's price. However, if your kind of lifestyle demands a robust watch then it's certainly not for you.
