Strengths: Good power with out a amp, bright display easy to read in a glance, front aux input.

Weaknesses: no att control on the deck itself.

Summary: I bought this deck to replace the factory deck in my '88 toyota. Being a pizza delivery drive I spend most of the day in the car. This deck is everything you could want in a deck. The MP3/WMA playback is flawless, the aux jack in located right in front so you don't have a cord dangling if your not using the mp3 player or other option. Its got enough power to push the music at high volumes while still keep the music clear. Definitely a sure bet in my book.

Nice Auto Audio system

Strengths: Brightness, great sound system, easy to use, and clarity.

Weaknesses: Button too small

Summary: I like this Sony Auto CD/MP3 player, the sound comes out clear and nice. Also, the price is just right, not too expensive. When you play the CD you need to open the front, then the panel will move forward. I like the CD entrance hiding behind the front panel makes more room for button and display. And the front panel has a very bright color makes the surrounding area near the player very visual at dark, make it easy to put in and take out the CD. Most of all is the surrounding sound nice and good. Great price and great quality. I am highly recommended.

Excellent Car Audio System

Strengths: Music file compatibility(MP3,ATRAC,WMA) Convenient Front AUX Input for MP3 Player User friendly controls Awesome sound clarity(even at higher volume levels) Comes with remote control

Weaknesses: NONE !

Summary: Purchased this item to replace the original factory stereo in a 1992 Toyota Celica STX Coupe. Purchased separate wiring harness to match up with this particular model vehicle which made installation a breeze. No additional mounting brackets or faceplates were required for installation in this model vehicle. Able to use mounting brackets and screws from the original factory stereo. No cutting or modifications were necessary. This stereo fit as well as the original factory installed unit did! Very pleased with this item in every way from looks, fit and performance! I would highly recommend it.

Pretty Good

Strengths: Very bright backlight display (though, could be a con at night), handy remote, clean design, sound and quality for the price.

Weaknesses: Backlight (see above), Not dot matrix display, very hard-to-read buttons on the unit, below-average FM quality.

Summary: 2006-09-14 05:07:35 I just bought this unit 5 days ago, and have the ipod adapter installed also. It feels like a durable unit, being that it is made by Sony (known for quality). Although the display is bright, it is quite a distraction at night. There is a way to dim it though at night. Also, it only has 2 preamp outputs. So you won't be able to connect a subwoofer later in the future. Unlike some higher-end units, the display is digital LCD crystals (like a calculator), not a dot matrix like some high end kenwoods or even Sony's. Dot matrices have finer lettering than digital crystals. The price is very good for this unit, and it's front aux output, coupled with the ipod adapter capability, makes it a very flexible unit.

Bang for the Buck

Strengths: Feature packed! Really cool looking and 52 Watt output is noce for the price.

Weaknesses: None yet!

Summary: Replaced factory stereo in my '99 Dodge Ram and saw improvement immediately! Was considering changing speakers since the factory ones tended to be a bit tinny and tuner got a lot of static. No need to upgrade speakers, they're fine. and the tuning is perfect now. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade from low-grade stock system but who doesn't really want to 'pimp their ride'! just wanted to hear some tasty tracks with clear playback...now where did I put my MP3 player...because you know I'm plugging that into this new system!

Very Good Indash CD player

Strengths: Supports MP3 and WMA formats, Remote control, super crisp sound quality, Lasge LCD display. Aux input.

Weaknesses: None

Summary: Just installed on my Camry..Wow I am so happy with the purchase. Sound quality is superb. I can hookup my MP3 player to this thru auxialry input which is very convenient for me because I won't burn music CDs that frequently. I highly recomment this product.
