 Received the Gizmo as a gift. It would be nice if ... Strengths: It opens cans.
Weaknesses: Would like other mounting options, like a wall mount.
Summary: Received the Gizmo as a gift. It would be nice if there were other mounting options. There were not any good places to mount it under our cabinets where it would not be in the way.
When mounted the cord comes out the bottom of the base. Since cabinets stick out 18 inches or so the cord needs to be taped to the bottom of the cabinet and run over to a wall outlet. Having the chord on the bottom of the base does not facilitate this.
Also this type of can opener leaves the can lid with sharp edges. There are hand can openers, such as the Zyliss, which open the can without any sharp edges. It would be very beneficial if the Gizmo had a similar feature.
