Strengths: Image quality, brightness, small size, ease of use
Weaknesses: None
Summary: My wife needed a projector for use in a classroom and I purchased this unit because it was on sale and it had good specs. The unit has good reviews on other sites too. It has turned out to be an excellent projector.

We use the projector connected to a laptop computer for powerpoint presentations. I believe this would make a great projector for home theaters too. The unit comes with a remote, usb receiver for the remote, RGB cable and soft carrying case. The unit is not very big, the carrying case isn't much bigger than a metal lunch box, making it very easy to travel with. The case could use some more padding. Operation of the projector is straight forward. The remote uses a usb receiver to communicate with the laptop. You can use the the remote to move the mouse pointer around on your computer to open and close files, page through presentations, etc. The remote has a built in laser pointer.

The projector produces excellent image quality, colors and brightness. It lives up to its technical specifications. We haven't used the speakers as of yet. I've priced a replacement lamp around $250. The unit does have a two year manufacturers warranty.

I highly recommend this projector.

Strengths: Bright, clear picture, excellent color quality (when projecting from a laptop), light and very quiet. Is an upgrade from a competitive model we previously had which cost about $300 more.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: The Toshiba is a very nice package. It is bright, retains excellent color. It is also very, very quiet, you can hardly hear it operating. It is easy to adjust (you can do everything directly on the unit or use the remote control). The menu system is intuitive. I would definitely recommend it.
