Strengths: Gets the job done and can use in the shower. Built tough and like the look of shaver. Good gift for father-in-law.
Weaknesses: none that I have come across.
Summary: Very pleased with purchase, was internally skeptical of buying a shaver but thought buying a shaver that I could take in the shower would make a difference and IT REALLY DOES. I haven't experienced any burn or bumps. But I get a REAL close shave. If this is your first shaver like it was for me I would definitely advise purchasing this shaver. Or if you are replacing a shaver this is a very cost effective shaver and you will be pleased. Hope this helps :)

Strengths: Shaves very close, holds it's charge and is very comfortable to hold and use.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: This is the fourth Panasonic shaver I bought. I have been happy with this one. The price is very good for the quality you get.

Strengths: Cheap; sleek design; wet shave; retains charge for a long time
Weaknesses: Does not come with international voltage charger; not very good for hair along neckline
Summary: At its price its a really neat thing.

As Braun points out, shaving a wet skin does not give a close shave because the skin swells when wet. So I dont prefer the wet shave. Yet the feature is good for those who suffer from a rash or itch with a dry shave. It does take a bit of getting-used-to for a dry shave. Normally within 2-3 weeks most people can adapt to it.

This one like most straight-head shavers is not the best around the neckline and you may need to learn a few tricks on ur own to get a close shave around that area.

It retains its charge for upto 5/6 shaves provided you shave at least once in 2 days and of course depending on the rate of ur beard growth.

It doesnt come with any fancy accessories like a stand and brush like Braun does. But hey... u r paying half the price!

Strengths: Lightweight. Charge lasts just long enough for a week business trip. No worries about liquid or gel shave products at airport.
Weaknesses: Wish it could be recharged on my home unit. Could be made of sturdier material. not sure how long rubber grips will last.
Summary: The lightweight materials used (cheap plastic) versus my $129.00 home Panasonic shaver remind me that this is a $30 unit, but frankly it serves its purpose. Indeed the plastic is lighter and easier to carry in my suitcase. As a road warrior, every ounce counts.

Nice razor, the replacement blades could be more widely available and CHEAPER, but nice deal for $29-35.00 and much better than Norelco or remington at that price ...

Cuts well, and misses only the hairs I have trouble with using a straight razor. no pulls, and nice feel on 98% of my face

Strengths: Reasonable price
Weaknesses: Charging adapter
Summary: I bought this shaver as a replacement for my previous Panasonic ES762 I bought about 5 years ago. ES762 cost about $70, which was almost twice of what I paid for the new ES4025SC. Its body looks and feels cheap, so this shaver may not be suitable for a gift. I bought this shaver for myself, so I don't care it. It has all functions I need, and works well. For those who don't want to spend more than $50, I believe this is a very good choice. I'll buy a new one when it becomes time to replace blades. My only complain is with its cordless charging adapter. In my bathroom, medicine cabinet's door interferes with the shaver, so I need to charge the shaver in my bedroom.

Strengths: Product charged up in 8 hours and held charge very well. Shaves very close in wet and dry conditions. Easy space saver charger.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I purchased the item as a Xmas gift for myself after reading a lot about all the wet/dry shavers. I know I picked the one that fits my budget and gives me all the options I wanted as well as a great shave both dry and wet.

Highly recommend the shaver.

3 Star ReviewPanasonic ES4025SC wet / dry electric shaver
Strengths: It's cheap!
Weaknesses: Shave isn't as close as a standard razor
Summary: I got this razor because the blades in my old Norelco razor were getting dull and the battery would no longer hold a charge.

This Panasonic electric razor is a nice, ergonomic, pretty well built razor that does well for a fast trim in the morning when I'm in a rush.

I don't think, however, it's a substitute for a standard razor if you are looking for a really close shave.

Strengths: double blade, pop-up trimmer, washable
Weaknesses: shaver is not compact, not ideal for travelling, the charger is only 120V compatible, internal battery no option for AA batteries
Summary: This shaver gets the job done, worth the money I paid for. It has floating double blade, and fully immersible. Also features a pop-up trim. It is ideal for use in US only though, since the included charger is 110V input only. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with it.

Strengths: Price. Light and ergonomic design. Can be used in both wet and dry conditions.
Weaknesses: Charger can only be used at 110 V.
Summary: This shaver was bought to replace my old Braun shaver and so far I am pretty satisfied with its performance. Its ergonomic design make it very comfortable to grip and move. This is a light weighted and handy shaver that is good for use at home and traveling. Only disadvantage is that its charger can't be used at 220 V and make it impossible to use in most Europran and Asian countries.

It can be confidently used in wet condition. This make cleaning with water and soap very easy. The price was very reasonable around $30.

3 Star ReviewI use the shaver to shave my head, for which it is ...
Strengths: Inexpensive, quality of shave good, comfort good, wet/dry flexibility.
Weaknesses: Does not work well on several days growth. Relatively short battery life of 20 minutes.
Summary: I use the shaver to shave my head, for which it is quite convenient. The shaver is inexpensive, providing good value. The wet and dry feature provides convenience and flexibility.
