3 Star ReviewGreat concept, poor execution
Strengths: The concept is wonderful. Coffee by the cup, no carafe. Auto timer shuts off after 2 hours. No more burned coffee. The coffee quality is very good.
Weaknesses: Tall, does not fit under older low wall cabinets. Timer is hard to see and hard to set. The brew button and warming button are the same button and there is no brew light.
Summary: Poorly made for the long haul. The rubber gasket that keeps the unit from leaking fails after about 1 year (cleaning the unit regularly makes it fail faster). The price of the 2 cent plastic part is a whopping $26.00 -- you might as well buy a new coffeemaker. Brew/warm button (push twice to brew, once to warm) is not accompanied by a separate brew light, so you cannot tell if brew is actually set.

Strengths: No Decanter, Taste of Coffee
Weaknesses: Price, Water Filter, Tank Discoloration, Size
Summary: I had the older version without the timer and water filter that the company does not sell anymore. If you have one of these older models, keep it. The water filter is a small charcoal bag on a stick that fits in the back part of the pot where you pour the water in. You can buy this piece for about $10 and use it in your current model. It really does'nt make the coffee taste any better. Your best bet is to buy a pitcher that filters the water and keep it in the fridge. There are two colors with no difference in them. For some reason, the white coffee maker is more expensive. You should not have to pay more for a white one. After a while, you will find that the tank that holds the coffee will turn brown inside. I let it soak with a little bleach and soap water. But, it stills stays a little brown. The size is bulky. I wish they would make an 8 cup pot. Every now and then, a coffee ground or piece of paper towel (from cleaning) will get stuck in the rubber seal where the coffee dispenses, causing it to drip. Despite the things I do not like, I really like the thing. The coffee taste good. Just wish they would make a smaller one.

Strengths: No carafe needed, just pours into cup. Easy to clean.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This is an excellent coffee maker! Very easy to use, you just pour the coffee right into a cup. Clean up is no problem. Just pull out the filter basket and coffee tank, then wash & dry. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone buying a coffee maker.

Strengths: The overall appearance looks nice on the counter. The removable components are light weight and easily cleaned. The coffee tastes fresh and stays hot. The one cup dispenser is a great concept!
Weaknesses: I would like to have the automatic shut off wait at least another hour.
Summary: While the size it larger than the usual coffee pot, it is neat and clean and defiantely a contemporary accent in the kitchen. I would like to be able to lift the lid and pour the water into the tank without moving the unit from out from under my upper cabinet. I am really pleased to not to handle a glass pot concept anymore. The station is a really nice product and I will recommend it to others, for sure!

Strengths: one-hand convenience; no breakable carafe; easy to fill.
Weaknesses: some water drippage from condensate when lid is opened.
Summary: This is the best coffeemaker I have owned. The dispenser is a pleasure to operate with one hand, no clunky carafe to break. I have had no problem with any leaks from the dispenser, or any staining in the bucket. There is a discrepancy in the cup markings on the bucket, depending on whether you read the inside or the outside markings. The inside marking for 12 cups will actually yield 8 oz. more than the outside markings. When you fill to the 12 cup outside line, the inside line reads 10 cups. The outside 12 cup reading corresponds to the 12 cup measurement in my traditional glass carafe from a different Hamilton Beach coffee maker. I actually like using the inside 12 cup marking to give me an extra cup of coffee at the end of the day, and I have adjusted the measure of coffee grounds accordingly to keep the strength the same.
