Overall, I really like the cuisinart black coffee ...

Strengths: Looks cool, great tasting coffee, doesn't show any coffee stains, easy to operate

Weaknesses: a little tall if you have limited space this may be a problem, lid to fill water will hit the bottom of the overhead cupboards

Summary: Overall, I really like the cuisinart black coffee maker. Its only weakness is the height, if you are going to place it under cupboards that are above the counter the lid that opens to fill the water may hit the bottom of the overhead cupboards. Check height of where you will be placing it in your kitchen. Mechanically and looks it is superb. Makes great coffee, love the adjustable warmer plate settings. Would recommend.

brew central DCC-1200BW coffee maker (12 cp, black)

Strengths: looks sleek, the heating temperature is good, and the 4 hour stay-on time is wonderful

Weaknesses: The water reservoir

Summary: The water reservoir is hard to fill and see the water level. Opening the lid makes condensation spill down the back of the machine.(not great for electrical ) My husband is 6'3" and he can't see the water levels (it is a step scale inside the reservoir). The plug cord is not long enough to pull the machine close toclimb up on something to look in!!!Otherwise it does just about the same as any other coffee machine---I would not buy this again...

Great Cup 'O Joe!

Strengths: 3 year warranty, great tasting coffee, affordable price

Weaknesses: We have had it about a 4 days and have not found a weakness yet.

Summary: We had been looking for a good coffemaker for about 2 months, but most reviews for a cheaper model were not very good. We did not want to spend +$100 for a coffemaker. Last week my wife found the Cuisinart DCC-1200BW 50% off at Dillards and she couldn't pass it up. I had been checking online for reviews and we had already decided we wanted to try this model. The cheapest we had seen it before was $60 and we were about ready to buy one at this price. Luckily, my wife found the one on sale at Dillards. The coffee is very good and the temperature is good. It has a setting that varies the temp and it will make a sound when the brewing is complete. We have not had a chance to try all the features but it made coffee this am by itself after programming the night before. We are very pleased so far.

Fine Coffee

Strengths: Compact. Attractive. Makes a very fine cup of coffee

Weaknesses: None I have found yet

Summary: I searched the Internet for recommendations for a reasonably priced coffee maker. Reviews of this product were consistently good and I have not been disappointed. It makes a delicious cup of coffee and has all of the features that are needed for a dependable sense of luxury.

Makes Great Coffee

Strengths: Makes great coffee and looks good on the kitchen counter.

Weaknesses: LCD display is small and hard to see.

Summary: Read many reviews about coffee makers before deciding on this one. Have no regrets about the purchase. I don't know if its because of the water filter used but this coffee maker has made a big difference in the taste of our coffee.

Brew Central DCC-1200BW Coffee Maker

Strengths: Solid construction, good performance, and stylish design with smudge-resistant surface. Adjustable heat plate settings.

Weaknesses: Expensive water filter (optional) replacements.

Summary: I've always had good luck with Cuisinart products and this is no exception. The coffee comes out HOT compared to lesser coffeemakers and has an adjustable LO-MED-HI heat plate setting. The replacement water filters are expensive but I have noticed that the coffee tastes better when the optional filter is used. I'm a little picky about my coffee and this machine does the job for me.
