Strengths: Scratch Resistant Glass Jar
Weaknesses: Leak Proof Lid
Summary: Improper packaging from Sunbeam’s Oster factory in their box. Lid was smashed between jar and motor. This has happened twice.

I notified Oster Service Center at Appliance Service Center 3560 Park Avenue Memphis, Tennessee 38111-5622 Phone #901-324-5898 or 888-537-4011 and they said and passed blame to Amazon.com although it was Oster’s problem because of packing at factory shipping . Does this mean Sunbeam’s Warranty is worthless?

I contacted Amazon.com from whom I purchased the blender and they immediately shipped me another with the same problem unbeknown to them. Amazon gets five stars for trying to solve a problem that needs to be corrected at Oster.

When we pay over seventy dollars for a blender I would expect better quality control.
