Strengths: Smooth feel with no knicks or burns. No pain whatsoever. Good charge. Easy to clean. Handy travel bag.
Weaknesses: Not quite as close as a bladed razor shave. Expensive to replace cutters and shields.
Summary: This is my second WDF 6000 Remington razor, and I will continue to buy this model in the future. When the battery would no longer hold a charge (after 3 years) on my first WDF 6000, I replaced it with a cheaper WDF 5500. There is a world of difference between the two shavers. The WDF 6000 is very smooth and doesn't even feel like hair is being cut. The WDF 5500 burned, scraped and knicked almost daily. (I never knew you could knick yourself with an electric shaver, but trust me you can!) I have a skin disease which requires me to use an electric shaver instead of a blade, and this razor does not bother my condition at all. I had no idea how smooth the WDF 6000 was until I quit using the WDF 5500. It glides like butter! The shaver holds plenty of charge for a shave (it also has a red light when the charge is getting low), and it is easy to clean with the opening head and cleaning brush provided. The shave isn't quite as close as a blade, but it does remove visible hair for the day. My hair grows rather quickly, so I do use this every day. The handy travel pouch is great for vacations. The only negative I can really think of is the replacement cutters and shield are rather expensive. The kit runs $24.95, so for a few bucks more, you could just replace the entire razor. The battery is also rather expensive which is why I replaced it before. All in all, I think for the price, you couldn't get a better ladies electric shaver.
