Strengths: Duplex operation is wonderful in such a compact printer. Although duplex printing reduces the pages per minute, the speed is still very satisfactory, about 10 ppm. Weaknesses: The printer driver does not always differentiate well between different colors when doing grey scale printing of color images. I hope Panasonic will some day update the drivers to help this problem. Summary: I chose this printer because it may have been the only duplex laser printer that would fit in my available space, in my laptop work station. It sits on the base pedestal under the paper rack which hangs under the table top. This is a vertical space of less than 10 inches. I am on my third toner cartridge at 10,600 pages plus. Cartridge life is averaging better than the factory rated 5000 pages. Toner availability has not been a problem. A Froogle search of "kx-p7300 toner" turns up 41 confirmed hits. Weaknesses: I just finsihed my second cartridge, Warning do not duplex over 20 pages at on time roller fell apart on the cartridge due to heat. Summary: Really like it still though I give a break on long duplex jobs and the cartridge issue has not reappeared. I particularly like the duplexing feature. Weaknesses: Have been unable to find toner for it anywhere, including at Panasonic. Back ordered everywhere else I checked. Summary: A very expensive paper weight. All you'll get when calling Panasonic is to be passed from area to another. You'll get is a case number but no support.
