Strengths: Limited supervision needed, develops coordination
Weaknesses: board doesn't attach well can't adjust projector much, no supplies included
Summary: My 4 yr old son got this for Christmas. It is one of his favorites as well as one of mine. It is not a project that requires a lot of adult help after showing them the first time and keeps my son occupied for a long time. Plenty of time to make dinner which is a lifesaver. I've noticed his small muscle control is greatly improving. He's also learning to draw various things. We have not used the teach to draw part much it seems to be just a touch over his head but he loves tracing the pictures and handing them out. Since he has started using it I've noticed His name is much more controlled when he writes it then it was before. I do wish the projector head moved a bit more so that the drawing could be a bit closer to the bottom of the board part. Would also be nice if it gave a little sample of paper and colored pencils. The only other downfall is that the clip doesn't hold the paper very still so it'd be nice to have a way to anchor the paper a bit more.
overall it's a great toy!
