Peerless LCS-KLA Articulating Wall Mount
Strengths: Relatively inexpensive and allows for significant LCD monitor positioning with 3 pivot points over a small desk. Finish is high quality - smooth, shiny silver (light gray) color.
Weaknesses: Installation took 2 people for a 19" LCD monitor.
Could not correct to horizontal level even when carefully installed.
Supplied screws for VESA mount were too long.
Summary: The fit and finish and packaging of the mount in the box was high quality. The screws, allen wrench tools and other parts were enclosed in a clearly marked and separated plastic bag. You could see all parts and quantities immediately - no sorting required.
However, during install I noticed that the shorter screws that connect the mount to the LCD VESA hole pattern were too long - about 1/8". Therefore, I used 3 stacked #8 washers to allow the screws to tighten without bottoming out. I would wonder whether anyone has damaged their LCD by using the screws as is without any spacers.
In addition, even though a small torpedo level and 2 persons carefully marked, drilled and screwed the unit with LCD monitor to the wall it was not level with the desk surface. The mount apparently bends from the weight of the LCD and tilts a small amount. It just doesn’t look right to my eye.
If the mount had an adjustment for level (after being installed to the wall) and the correct screws included I would have rated this product significantly higher.

Strengths: Sturdy metal body and 3 point pivot system
Weaknesses: After installation, the arm bends a little and the level of the monitor can no longer be adjusted
Summary: I read some reviews about this product before I bought it. Some said it worked very good but others said they had some problem with the leveling. I decided to give it a try because the price is very attempting to me.
Now I can confirm that the product is good. It is made of strong metal with good finishing. However, it did bend a little bit since the arm is not a whole piece of metal. It has joints and those joints leave some room for the bending. I think the only way to correct this problem is to allow the further adjustment of the monitor level once it has been installed. This requires an improved design from the manufacture.

It's good, but not that good
Strengths: It looks nice, functions well on most aspects and has good build quality...but
Weaknesses: It has a strong tendency to twist the articulating arm as you pull it out from the wall and move the weight to one side or the other. So, you loose level when you pivot the monitor. It's kinda bad.
Summary: I still like it, and think it is a decent quality product...however I would like to have read some more honest opinions before I bought mine. This is a fairly big problem with the design...and very obvious. These manufacturers must always combat this problem, and this is a poorly designed unit on that front. It is supposedly designed to hold up to 25lbs, but my monitor at about 13lbs is causing the whole thing to twist out of square by about 2 degrees - and that's not at full pivot either. If you don't ever intend to move it once you get it mounted, then you can compensate for this...but do you want to be stuck in one place with an articulating monitor mount? Think about it before you buy.

Strengths: heavy duty / simple
Weaknesses: have to use two people to install
Summary: As I noticed in "weaknesses" section of this review - you have to use two people to install this wall mount. Wall mount itself is a nice (very nice) piece of hardware - it's heavy duty made and installed properly (leveled and into the stud) does its job very well! Highly recommend!

Strengths: Well designed and quality material.
Weaknesses: As far as I can tell, there are no weaknesses.
Summary: The Mount is well made and exactly as shown. It included clearly detailed instructions for mounting and the screws for doing the job. I am very pleased with the product.

Strengths: Well made, complete set of mounting hardware, good instructions.
Weaknesses: Should include a mounting template since most people will choose not to purchase the accessory Metal Stud Wall Plate.
Summary: The unit is extremely well made and, except for the lack of a mounting template, very easy to install using the supplied hardware. I feel that this item offers a lot of value for the money and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone I know.

Strengths: Can't beat the price. Comes with all the hardware needed. Easy to install. Looks good and fills my need to wall mount my LCD
Weaknesses: none that I can think of.
Summary: 2007-02-08 20:14:24 I wanted a wall mount but didn't want to spend more then $50. I think I paid $42.54 with shipping included using a 10% off coupon. I am using the LCD Wall Mount with my Samsung 910T 19 inch LCD. The screws it comes with are a perfect fit. All you need to do is use a stud finder, drill, level and a screw driver to install this on wall. Comes with all the hardware screws needed to mount on any type of wall and an allan wrench to make adjustments at the joints.
If your looking for an inexpensive LCD wall mount to mount your LCD on a wall and it weighs less then 25 lbs then this would do the job well.

Strengths: Articulating, secure, high strength
Weaknesses: can be tricky to install
Summary: This is one of the best articulating arms you can buy. The range of motion is very good. Please keep in mind that when you install this mount that you must follow all instructions. Particularly make sure to drill the full 2.5" pilot hole before beginning to install the screws to the wall; otherwise you will strip the heads.

Strengths: This stand easily carries my 17" Samsung LCD computer monitor. I can now use one desk, for both my computer, and my school work.
Weaknesses: This monitor stand does not move vertically, as you may have noticed. However, you can tilt your monitor at the end of the wall mount's arm. Maybe I shouldn't consider this a weakness....?
Summary: Sturdy construction; clear instructions; low cost; high quality; not to mention the looks. This stand is just what I thought it would be (things are hardly ever what I think ;-). I especially like the tension adjustments for the joints. This wall mount will surely last--it has a five year warranty.
