I found that this notebook only runs warm and not hot after over 10 hours' usage. Weaknesses: need to upgrade the memory and purchase a wireless card. The battery is a 4-cell unit and lasts a bit under 2 hours. Summary: I bought this brand new laptop from Dell for about $400 after rebate. This is an inexpensive notebook, and an extremely good value for many of us, who use the laptop for documentation, online search, comunication, homework, and email... 100% of People (5/5) found this review helpful. Toys N Tech from PA Member Since: Sep 2001 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 1 Month	Good value Strengths: Very inexpensive Weaknesses: Slow processor, weak battery, clunky, expensive to upgrade Summary: This is a great laptop for high school students as it does well what most high school students do with it - word processing, sending emails, surfing the Internet and chatting. Try to do more than that and the laptop will be slow, unresponsive unless you upgrade the memory from base 256MB to at least 512MB RAM.
