 We received the merchandise well before Christmas. ... Strengths: Great looking coffeepot.Modern looking - no carafe. Just a dispenser to allow you to get individual cups of coffee.
Weaknesses: The coffee dispenser drips and the area under the dispenser is too small for travel cups.
Summary: 2004-12-30 18:49:51 We received the merchandise well before Christmas. It wasn't damaged in any way and functions well except for the leaky dispenser.We would buy a product from J&R music again after some research on the Consumer Reports website.

Strengths: Simple to use. No carafe is very nice.
Weaknesses: Coffee brew bucket is not dishwasher safe. Damp coffee grinds if you pre-set for morning ready brew (coffee grinds and water in same reservoir allows for condensation).
Summary: Overall I am pleased with this product. I like the 'no carafe' concept. Travel mugs do not fit under dispenser. Quality of brew is good and easily adjusted for preference.

Strengths: No breakable carafe. Easy to use. Keeps coffee warm, but not burnt.
Weaknesses: Began to leak after 2 years
Summary: Ordering a replacement after 2 years despite the fact that our current one began to leak. We make a tremendous amount of coffee and this make has the best design and is generally very clean. Did my initial research on the product based on reviews and it lived up to my expectations.

Strengths: If you want a Hot cup of coffee, buy this coffeemaker
Weaknesses: Only have had it a week, don't have any weaknesses yet.
Summary: If you are like me and like your coffee HOT, buy this coffee maker. This is the first coffee maker that really makes a hot cup of coffee, and you don't have to mess around with a carafe. You can get as little coffee you want just put your cup under the machine.

Strengths: Easy to use, no caraffe to clean or break, makes great coffee, auto timer and auto shut-off, looks great
Weaknesses: None
Summary: We really didn't need a new coffee maker, but when we saw the Brewstation we couldn't resist. This machine is really nice. It is very easy to use and makes superb coffee. There is no mess and no caraffe to clean or break. We got a super deal using PriceGrabber.com and got the gold permanent filter free. Highly recommended!

Strengths: Ease of pouring water into coffeemaker
No pot to pour then drip everywhere.
Ability to push cup and get a fast cup of coffee
Weaknesses: Clock is hard to see. Needs a brighter backlight.
The need to replace the rubber washers to keep it from dripping. That should be addressed.
Summary: I purchased this Brewstation 12 cup coffeemaker, after looking at it for about a year. I got tired of pouring the water into my old coffeemaker and dripping all over the place. I also got tired of wiping up the excess coffee that constantly dripped onto the hot plate and stuck the pot. This solves all of those problems. I also had to convince my husband that it was a good idea not to have a "pot" to pour from. This morning, when he got his cup of coffee, he did so with a smile, but still so far has not noted I might be right about this coffeemaker. I love it and hope it will serve us well in the future.

Strengths: Very easy to program, intuitive controls. Quick to brew and ease of pouring directly into cup. No carafe to break.
Weaknesses: Large size and the need to move coffeemaker in order to tilt travel mug under dispenser.
Summary: My husband did not want to purchase this coffeemaker thinking it was not that great of concept with no carafe. However, after using this, he has had a change of attitude. The coffee comes out much hotter than our previous coffeemaker, almost too hot for my preference. More importantly, it comes out quickly which was his main concern. I fill the water tank directly from the faucet on my sink which has a flexible hose so it is very easy to fill, but I can see where filling the plastic tank first would take a little longer with this system because you have to remove the coffee basket to access the tank. Then you pour the water from the plastic tank into the water reservoir and reassemble. Not hard but an extra step.

Strengths: Brews coffee very fast. You can get a cup in minutes.
Coffee stays hot without giving it an over heated taste.
I really like not having to pour coffee from a pot.
Weaknesses: Shuts off after two hours.Just not long enough for me.
Summary: This is a great coffee maker that provides great tasting coffee that is easy to use and eliminates the pot. Just place your cup against the button and it fills your cup with hot coffee any time.
