Strengths: Compact, easy to clean
Weaknesses: Cones tend to wear out over time
Summary: This is my second salad shooter purchase. I use it all the time for shredding cheese and grating carrots and potatoes. It is small enough to fit in a drawer and everything can go in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean. The one drawback is that the plastic in the cones break down when being washed in the dishwasher and tend to crack. I could wash them all by hand but then it wouldn't be as convenient to own. Considering I got 5 plus years out of the other one and the price is fairly low I'll go with convenience. Highly recommend.
