 Not very forgiving to shorted button wires Strengths: Cheap. Kit includes 2 buttons and transformer. Several places to bring wires through back gives mounting flexibility.

Summary: This kit includes everything you need except wire to install the doorbell. I had installed a new wire going to my back door and at some point the wires became shorted together somewhere in the line.
I hooked everything up and turned the breaker on. I got to the top of the basement stairs and heard the doorbell going off, so ran back down the stairs to turn off the breaker. It was too late. 30 seconds and the doorbell fried.
