abclancer Member Since: Jan 2006 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 35 Days	Best Razor I have owned...with the closest shave possible Strengths: Quicker and closer than the Braun Activator...with a little shaving cream this gives you the best shave ever Weaknesses: None so far..using this razor for a month and I am still amazed at the quality and closeness of my shaves...no nicks or cuts Summary: The shave also has a self cleaning system that is easy to use and it charges the razor at the same time. You can clean this razor with just soap and water it f like, so if you are on a business trip, you don't need to worry about the charging/cleaning unit. The shave is as close as a blade without the nicks and cuts and you can shave in the shower if you prefer. Buy the cheapest shaving cream and it will make the razor glide across your beard. I love the way it shaves with a little shave cream. No nicks or scratches and no missed areas. Holds charge well. Vortex system cleans and charges. Weaknesses: None, unless you hate to give up some of your counter-space. Summary: I was very skeptical because I always felt I got a better shave with a blade than with an electric shaver. I would use a Norelco on my days off and a blade on work days. Since using the Panasonic wet/dry I haven't had the need or desire to use the blade again. I get as good or better shave with the Panasonic, especially when used with a little shave cream. Cleaning is easy. I use the cleaner about once every four days. Good-bye Norelco. Strengths: Easy, very close shave, very little to no skin irritation (muc less than blade), recharging and cleaning station works well--all in all a very fuss free shaver; highly recommended! Weaknesses: Buying cleaning cartridges every 1-2 months (or get the 3-pack) Summary: This is my second Panasonic linear shaver, as I just bought the 8077 to replace my aging 8095. The 8095 was very good and served me well for 2 years, but I was amazed how much better the new 8077 was. For me, the 8077 shaves closer than a blade with a whole lot less effort and no blood loss to boot! You have to learn how hard to hold the shaver against your skin for the best results (soft touch works best for me), as it will irritate or even slightly nick (nothing like a blade--very slight) your skin if you press too hard. I originally thought the cleaning station was a gimmick, but it has turned out to be anything but. It sure is nice to have a fully charged, dry and cleaned shaver every day! If you are on the fence not wanting to spend this much on an electric shaver, take comfort in knowing this shaver is probably better than anything else you've tried--including a blade. I've used Norelco, Braun, and most of the triple+ blade shavers, and this one wins hands down. It's worth the money. 90% of People (35/39) found this review helpful. Summary: I had two of these shavers. Both worked great for about a year, then just stopped. Instead of vibrating back and forth, they just make a series of musical tones, as though the head is trying to start vibrating. I've kept them clean, used the expensive cleaning trays, even replaced the foil and head on one. If you only expect to get a year or so from your investment, this is a great shaver.
