A pound or two variance by stepping off the scale and going back on. If you are dieting, it drives you nuts. This scale is QUALITY and you'll instantly know it when you take it out of the box! I tested this scale against our digital scale by weighing ourselves and then weighing ourselves again while holding a 10 pound weight. The HealthOmeter Professional Scale weighed me correctly at 10 pounds heavier with the weight, while the digital scale weighed me only 8.7 pounds heavier!
