Strengths: price at Sam's Club, unbeatable,$70. audio - very good. appearance, sleek and designer-like. ability to use USB devices is cool. 5 discs, plays 400+ minutes of music. fm radio reception is good.
Weaknesses: no base or tremble adjustments. plastic cd trays seem delicate. cd changer is a bit noisy. not really portable as speakers do not attach to main unit. speaker covers are fabric, prone to rips.
Summary: overall, at the price, i would say, it is worth the small shortcomings. it is servicing my purposes as a semi-portable
work/shop cd player and fm radio. i have been wondering what effect saw dust in the cd changer will have. i am hopeful that the cd changer works for a long time as this seems to be the problem with this type of stereo. sam's club's warranty is 100% satisfaction as long as your own it. (lifetime!) i looked at many manufacturer products before deciding on this one. if you can get a great price, i highly suggest buying it.
