1 Star ReviewVery poor quality sound
Strengths: Style design
Weaknesses: Very poor quality sound.
Summary: Not worth to buy. Total waste of money. The sound is just not acceptable - it is worse than my 75 watts mini CD player. The subwoofer is not working as supposedly - very very very weak. There are many good deals onlne for under $200. I went for Sony HT-DDW670 Home Theater System. It has a lot of good comments and is under $200.

    Product Experience:
    2 Years
Strengths: Good value for the low cost
Weaknesses: Not so strong sound for a family of say 6 people.
Summary:

Extremely enjoyed DVD movies like "Matrix", "Apocalypto", "Black Hawk Down" and so on. Sound came from all directions in the room through the five satellite speakers. The bass coming from subwoofer is also strong enough for this low cost product.

When listening to CDs, Mp3s or FM radio, we should switch the surround sound to "Stereo surround" from "Prologic (5 way surround)" mode. The remote control has a button that allows to do that switching with a click.

CDs, Mp3s and FM music has only 2 way stereo sound. So if you keep the system to "prologic" only one central satellite speaker throws all the sound. So it sounds very low volume. But if you switch to "stereo" surround system, two satellite speakers and the subwoofer starts to work and great sound starts to come out.

But when watching DVDs, the sound of the DVDs come in five channels. So we should select "prologic" surround system so that all the five satellite speakers start to work together with the subwoofer and give great theatrical sound performance.
