Summary: I purchased a Speck case 8 months ago. It protects the iPod if you drop it, however I noticed that blotches appeared all over the front. This decreases the resale value along with the great look of the gadget. I tried to remove the blotches using several methods and nothing works. My friends bought the same case about 5 months ago, his iPod has the same problem. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE, if you care about the looks of your iPod

Deserves re-SPECK!

Strengths: This is an excellent case! Tough Skin is is a sort of rubbersuit for the iPod. It feels tough and looks tough too! The black model compliments my black Pod; I haven't found a need to remove it!

Weaknesses: None found.

Summary: This is a great case. Comes with removable belt clip, fits iPod perfectly. No need to get naked with this wetsuit on! Some may complain that the wheel is exposed, but I don't mind. My Speck 60GB Video iPod case didn't come with the wheel protector like the one listed here which looks like 4th G. I like it better than anything else I seen.

Durable IPOD Case!

Strengths: This sleek look, compliments my black IPOD.... I love it!!!

Weaknesses: There are none!

Summary: My brother recommended the TOUGH-SKIN Case with an older IPOD that he got a year ago. I am glad I took his advice. I am very pleased with this product. I feel much more comfortable taking my IPOD out, now that I have a case. All I need now is the black headphone to match :)

Sticky Fingers

Strengths: Tough, protects the screen well, very 'grippy'

Weaknesses: Ugly, rubber skin makes it hard to get in and out of pockets

Summary: I bought this case because it looked like one of the toughest available. It is, no doubt. Using it with the belt clip is probably best, but I like to slip my iPod in and out of my pocket as I am commuting to work. This is virtually impossible to do easily because the rubber coating is terribly sticky. Still, I've had the case a couple of weeks now and it appears to offer great protection.

yeah, it's ok

Strengths: protects from scratches as promised

Weaknesses: pretty darn ugly

Summary: I bought this knowing only that it protects the iPod from scratches. I didn't know what it looks like, so I was mildly unpleasantly surprised to receive this dull-colored, rubbery thing. It does its job, but isn't one of the features of the iPod its sleek look? Well, not any longer when you're using the case.

Also, it awkwardly fits the 60 GB iPod

Tough-Skin Case - for Apple iPod Video 30 or 60 GB MP3 Player (Black)

Strengths: protects ipod if droped

Weaknesses: fm transmitter

Summary: i just received my tough skin case and was very happy with the product it was easy to install and remove if needed it also has a cover over the lcd screen on the ipod.I had to modify the bottom of the case to use a fm transmitter that connects to the usb port, but that is the only problem i have with it.

Great Case

Strengths: Great looking case and provides excellent protection

Summary: Great case and was highly recomended on ilounge.com. One of the only cases right now for the video ipod. Could be a bit cheaper but pricegrabber had the best price by far

Summary: This tough-skin IPOD case protects my IPOD well; what i like especially is hard glass cover which protects the screen while not compromising the quality of images; the belt clip is superb, not like in some cell phones or my pda case which falls out every time i sit; this one secures your IPOD 100%.

The only thing i do not like is when you want to keep it in your pocket, the thing to which the belt-clip is attached protrudes and causes some inconvenience. Otherwise - a superb ipod case to have

Better than I thought.

Strengths: Great screen protection. Cool tire design look and feel. Feels like your ipod can take a certain amount of abuse. Fits in my bose sounddock perfectly with the skin on.

Weaknesses: Adds significant bulk to ipod. No click wheel protection. Belt attachment is a bit loose, would be better with a "click feel". Top part of plastic screen cover is a bit loose.

Summary: Overall im fairly impressed with this skin. I didn't read any reviews when i purchased it, but I knew what I was looking for and this is pretty damn close.

To take care of the click wheel protection I will most likely buy invi-shield since thats a good thing to have anyway.

My rubberized ipod

Strengths: Its thick and it has a protective cover over the screen. Big plus because I have a tendency to scratch the face of my products.

Weaknesses: It makes my very slim ipod a tad bit thicker.

Summary: I saw a guy on the train with it. I needed an ipod case that was DURABLE. This item received good reviews and its decently priced. All the ports are readily accesible so you never have to take the ipod out the case. Screen is a big plus because I tend to scratch the face. Overall, its a good product.

Strengths: Aesthetic, durable, stylish, great protection for a hyper-sensitive product

Weaknesses: A little pricey...

Strengths: An extremely protective cover.

Weaknesses: It might be hard to dock without removing the cover.

Summary: This Tough-Skin Case IPOD cover is great. It is made of rubber and very tough. It not only will protect your IPOD if dropped, the cover also grips to your fingers making it harder to drop or slip from your hand. I would highly recomend this cover.

Strengths: The perfect protection. Looks tough.

Weaknesses: Looks bigger than it should be. I guess because it is black.

Summary: I just ordered one and haven't received the product. But my colleague bought one and I like it very much. I have compared a bunch of similar iPod cases and think this one is best choice.

Video Ipod Case

Strengths: Tough & flexible material, a belt clip is included. Also has a built in screen protector.

Weaknesses: Have to work to get the case onto the Ipod.May not fit into a docking station with the case on.

Summary: Being so flexible,the case really tends to stick to the Ipod while putting it on the Ipod. It took a while to get the case on. Get a lot of use out of the beltclip as I don't have to carry the Ipod. Have a speaker docking station & am able to put the Ipod into the docking station without taking the case off. Would buy this case again, in fact I purchased a Toughskin case for my wife's Ipod Nano.
