 Vivitar 7x50 model 1511241 Strengths: price, good sized optics
Weaknesses: poor construction
Summary: I just bought this model at the local sporting goods store, and am taking them back. Out of the box they had double vision. In taking a closer look at the construction, there are several areas where the adjustments are not precise. The focus adjustment can be skewed by slight pressure on one of the eye pieces. One of the optic barrels did not have a tight fit to the body of the binoculars. It may just be that this particular pair is defective, but I am not taking my chances on another pair.
