Summary: I've been using the grinder several times a day now for the last 3 weeks or so, and it works super. I bought this one as a replacement for my old coffee grinder that died on me. I like the design of the krups grinder I've compared it to several other ones available on the market. The plus, it works super fast, and the safety mechanism is dependable. (Some models available on the market are KNOWN to have some safety issues, but always to be safe unplug it just in case before you put your fingers in!!!!) On the minus side... I seen models with a cord storage, and I would have loved that on this model :o( At the other hand on the plus again, the bottom of this unit has some cooling slots... I think my old one died from overheating. Anyway, it's a great bargain and it does exactly as described... "it grinds coffee like the best" :o) You may also try it with some nuts or grains. I'm very happy with it.
