2 Star ReviewWireless B Network Adapter for Desktop Review
Strengths: Good reception, cheap pricing
Weaknesses: Does not support the faster G network
Summary: Easy to install with enclose easy to follow instruction. Downside of this adapter is that it only support the B network which is 11mbps in comparison to the G which is now more common at 54mbps. If you have a slower B network at home, I would recommend this adapter. If you dont want to take your case off, consider buying a USB Wireless adapter instead.

3 Star ReviewWireless PCI Adapter
Strengths: Wireless, fairly easy to install, cheap.
Weaknesses: Connection doesn't seem to be constant (duh, it's wireless), computer needs restart to reconnect (maybe how I set it up... dunno)
Summary: 2005-08-14 16:19:59 This is a fairly good, cheap card. Nothing special, nothing extra, just wireless ability for those who need it. I have two computers in two rooms and only have one router to connect to DSL. Wireless router and PCI card fixed that, but the computer with the Wireless PCI card seems to have issues (not sure if it is how I set it up, how far the rooms are apart, the router, the computer, or the card itself). I don't know much about wireless connecting, so it took me a little while to set it up. Speed seems fine when its connected, but sometimes it won't connect to the router unless the computer is restarted. But for the price? I could care less.

Strengths: easy set up, cheap
Weaknesses: slow "B" network
Summary: If you just need a cheapy card to hook up to a "B" network to share internet then this is fine for broadband under 200K a second. I have it around 10 feet from my router and it get 80% signal strength, might be the router though but linksys is usually good.

Strengths: Super price!
Weaknesses: none!
Summary: Easy install, apparent simple integration into XP, no frills, no problems! This card cost me less than $10 after the rebate and installed just fine. Why pay any more than that when there is something like this? Very satisfied!

Strengths: Immediately worked out of the box, using the supplied CD. Connected perfectly to my neighbor's router since mine was not yet set up!
Weaknesses: Wish it would have installed without the CD. I had a crash and the CD was in a different room, up 2 flights of stairs. waaaah!
Summary: This is a great low cost card. With the rebates this thing is costing me under $10! I highly recommend it, just understand that it won't give you anything other than 11mbps speed. Also, I normally recommend people use the utilities supplied by the manufacturer, but, this worked immedately using what was built into Windows, so that was a good sign.
