Strengths: None in particular Weaknesses: None in particular Summary: The Shady business I'm referring to in the title is in the toner management component. After a certain period of time the lights on the printer start blinking "need new toner" Apparently, if the cartridge is manipulated in a certain way,those lights will stop blinking and you'll continue to get clear and clean copies. I continued to get such copies for many months after having been informed that I was out of toner and would need a new cartridge. I have been using this product for some time - I wonder how many cartridges I threw away when there was plenty more ink left in them. Was this review helpful or unhelpful for you? Does not leak like many other brands. Weaknesses: None Summary: Great quality toner cartridge. Do not bother to spend extra on the TN-460 (the double-capacity ones), as they begin to leak toner well before they reach the promised 6,000 page count. Buy this cartridge instead. Strengths: Same cartridge as shipped with the original unit. Weaknesses: As careful as you are, the replacement process will leave a dusting of toner powder. This is typical of toner cartridges and laser printers, but the installation instructions should make it known. Summary: Because this OEM toner cartridge is the same as what is originally shipped with the Brother 1440 model laser printer, I have no complaints about the product itself.
