Strengths: Auto format recognition for DVD player and excellent picture quality
Weaknesses: Not a 52" screen
Summary: I paid just under $600 for my Mintek. Brand new out of the box installation and setup were a breeze. I'm not sure why the previous post could not adjust color. I've had no trouble with that or anything else on my unit. However, machines are machines and no two are exactly the same. It's unfortunate but true. My son spent over $5500 on an HDTV big screen and tried to convince my wife and I that we would like his big screen better and he could see my small 32" screen just fine. After selling his four year old big screen for $500 he wanted to trade me for the Mintek. Like he said, "That thing has a sharper picture than my big screen." I couldn't agree more. The Mintek is almost four years old now and I've moved twice. I've never had to reset or readjust anything on it. I think it is one of the better buys I've made.
