Detailed, but biased sound. Limited use, but very good at it.
Strengths: good, strong bass while maintaining details in mids and highs
Weaknesses: large (very noticible), fit doesn't feel secure, does not isolate noise well.
Summary: My comments are probably a little biased because I've used the UE 5 pro's first, but saw these on sale and decided to give them a try. While the pro's stick out, the eb's really are noticable- they look like big white antennas sticking out of your ears. The color especially makes them stand out. The pro's fit more snug and provide decent sound isolation (not as good as shure's, but more comfortable). The other major difference is the skewing of the sound to the lower frequencies- which is the whole reason why you buy these. It works well for bass-heavy music (techno, dance, hip hop), but are less versatile than the pro's if you listen to more variety of music. The details are still there, but you can feel the shift when compared to most other headphones. Overall, they are a decent set of headphones, but with limited use.. and more likely for indoors.
