Weaknesses: Very poor implementaiton of state tax modules, end review of your tax situation does not inlcude state taxes, flawed integration with ItsDeductable software.
Summary: Although I like TurboTax a lot, I was majorly disappointed in two things:
1) The state modules were poorly integrated into the rest of the program.
2) The electronic submission process includes two steps, and you can’t officially submit your returns to state OR federal authorities until the first step is completed.
Since there was a delay in the completion of the first step of this process, I couldn’t do anything until it finished. It would not even allow me to stop the electronic process and submit a paper return. All I could do was wait until the first step competed, which took about three days. As a result, I was late in sending in my state tax payment, which makes me very unhappy.
