Strengths: Nice look
Weaknesses: Poor Customer Service, water dispenser leaks, inside liner cracks. Company not willing to stand behind their product or their warranty.
Summary: I purchased my Whirlpool Refrigerator at the end of March 2007 and have had continuous problems with it. First the water dispenser kept leaking water slowly. This was finally fixed after several repairmen came out and the water dispenser from old Whirlpool models was put on.

Next, I noticed cracks in the inside liner of the refrigerator. I was told on the phone that the product would most likely have to be replaced, but there was an epoxy that could be tried first to fix the problem. The epoxy did not work (it yellowed and the cracks were still there) so I called to have the refrigerator replaced. I was told that it could not be replaced, but that a tech would come out to look at it. The tech came out and said that there was nothing that he could do so I called Whirlpool back and was told that in order to replace the product, they needed a third tech to come out and deem it unrepairable. The third tech came out and wanted to glue a huge piece of liner over the cracks and epoxy. I wanted the product fixed and not covered up so I said no.

I called Whirlpool back and was told that they would now not replace the refrigerator at all since I refused the "cover up" repair. I informed the man on the phone that I would be leaving reviews on every site I could and I would also contact the Better Business Bureau. He said "ok".

It is so sad that a company as large as Whirlpool will not stand behind their products! I saw bad reviews on this refrigerator, but thought that I would be the lucky one to not have any problems and I sure was wrong! Please do not buy this refrigerator.
