Poor Product - Avoid!

Weaknesses: Suspect electronics - Poor Aftercare Service
Summary: Bought this back in November. First morning after it arrived could hear a high pitched whine. TV was whistling. Reported it to SharpCare (or whatever) a month later we got a call from an engineer. By then we noticed there were screen distortions and what looked like power surges which affected the sound. Engineers said "oh thats how they are, nothing to worry about". Wasnt happy still, so anyway over six months we had the guts replaced (they wouldnt exchange it so a grumpy engineer arrived that had only been told about one of the total of four faults we had at the time) and it still didnt work properly (in fact it had the same faults and then some). Sharps aftercare is hopeless. In the end they exchanged it for a LC32P55E which so far has worked fine. Over six months of messing about to sort out what was just an easy exchange. A flawed product and Aftercare service... not recommended.
