Strengths: Stong picture, great price, flexible options.
Weaknesses: BNC Jacks only for video sourse. (No RCA plugs.)
Summary: After considerable research into purchasing a plasma, I chose the Sony PFM42V1 because I wanted a high quality screen that would also display a PC signal as well as video. While lacking the resolution to take full advantage of HD signals, it will display them when combined with an HD tuner. Also, the quality of the standard ED picture is such that I don't think I will be regretting not buying an HD monitor. I purchased the unit from Plasmahouse.com and while their price was excellent, I paid more than I probably should have for shipping (almost 300.) and 185 for a fixed wall mount. (about the standard.) FYI, once wall studs are located, the wall mount is simple to install and the tv locks right into it. Also, I had several discussions with both sales and customer service at Plasma house and they were very helpful and courteous.
