Strengths: cleans debris between teeth :)
Weaknesses: frequent water refills and battery replacements, limited power
Summary: This little toy is a useful one for those of us too lazy to floss. 1600 pulses per minute actually doesn't translate into that much pressure, but it's enough to do the job, and it's definitely enough to drain the water tank in about 20 seconds. Obviously, you'll need to refill at least 3-4 times for a good rinse, which luckily, takes no more than a couple of seconds. This ease of use, combined with low cost earns this product the solid 4 stars despite the limitations inherent to a portable unit. As you may be aware, irrigators are generally notorious for their short life, but at least with this model, you'll have a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

Strengths: Small, portable, sturdy design & material, strong water pressure, the best portable water irrigator so far.
Weaknesses: Still cannot find any
Summary: I am a big fan of irrigator equipment since it cleans better between crowns. I have purchased and used 4 types of irrigators and I can say that this product is one of the best so far. I will compare the four products I used and tell you what I really like about this little panasonic irrigator.

The first one that I had is conair irrigator that I purchased from walmart. I used it for about 2 years then water pressure went down to zero. The next and current one is ProfessionalCare 7900 OxyJet center. I really love this product both the brush and the irrigator part. To tell you the truth, I even took it to my office sometimes since the irrigator part is very useful. However, it is too heavy and bulky. Then, I started looking for a portable irrigator. I then bought portable irrigator from conair ($19.99) since it is the cheapest in the market, despite a good review of the panasonic product (the price of the panasonic one is almost double). Unfortunately, the conair portable irrigator died after the first use. I was hesitating to buy this panasonic product after my bad experience with the other portable irrigator...but eventually I bought it....

After I received the product, I inserted rechargeable batteries and used it right away. The plastic bottle doesn't look cheap like the conair one. It seems durable! The water pressure is great. It is not heavy and is truely portable. The water tank is not small. I use 2-3 tanks to clean all my teeth. I love the product and will definitely purchase it again. I will update how long it will last when I know it. I hope it lasts for at least 1 year.

Strengths: A popcorn eaters best friend
Weaknesses: The need to refill with water so frequently
Summary: I'm babyboomer who's joined the ranks of braces wearers, which alone does not make me happy. But the one thing I refuse to give up is freshly popped popcorn. This product does a wonderful job if finding those hidden kernels that may pop up 3 months down the road even if you floss day and night. I love it and my mouth feels SO FRESH and SO CLEAN:-)

Strengths: Portability, lightweight
Weaknesses: Can't use mouthwash in this unit
Summary: This is my first time using a water pik type product. So it does take practice yet it does remove food between my teeth that my toothbrush didn't. I like the size and light weight of it as I travel alot. Also, since it's battery powered, I don't have to travel with another electric cord, charger etc. Recommend this for travelers.

Strengths: It's very convenient because it's portable. I would recomend this product to everybody. I already recomended it to my friends.
Weaknesses: I wish it had different stages where we could regulate the pulsation.
Summary: It's very convenient because it's portable. I would recomend this product to everybody. I already recomended it to my friends.I am very happy that I purchased this product. I recomend it to everybody. It's very convinient that I can just put it in my purse and take it whatever I go. And it doesn't take a lot of space to store it at home. I wish it had different stages where we could regulate the pulsation.

3 Star ReviewNot sure I'd buy it again, but does work well for ...
Strengths: Very easy to use; uses 2 AA batteries; compact, when closed takes little space on vanity/countertop, or in medicine chest. Lightweight and easy for travel; strong irrigation stream.
Weaknesses: Small reservior requires stopping & refilling during use. Irrigator tip does not stay stationary - moves around while trying to use it, but you will get used to that.
Summary: 2005-03-26 15:08:40 Not sure I'd buy it again, but does work well for it's size, and my teeth feel cleaner. I have to wonder how long it will work, and only a trip to my hygienist will tell me if it's doing the job. Decided to keep this one mainly for travel, and maybe get a different one for home.

Strengths: Portable and easy to use
Weaknesses: small resevoir
Summary: I have an electric model with a hose. This is much easier to use. The small resevoir is not a problem as it is easy to fill. One or two refills and you are done. It's great for travel and fits easily on the counter.
