Strengths: This product was recommended by my dental hygienist to guard against gum recession. It definitely cleans the teeth without pressure on the gums.
Weaknesses: It takes a bit of practice to use after brushing with a manual toothbrush for the past 25+ years.
Summary: My first impression was not all positive. I found this method of brushing to be a bit messy at first because it took a few days for me to determine how to best clean my teeth, keeping my mouth closed around the brush, to avoid spraying toothpaste all over. I still haven't mastered the technique, but I do feel my teeth are cleaner and that I'm doing less harm to my gums than I would with a manual toothbrush.

Strengths: great toothbrush!
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I love my sonicare toothbrush. I have gotten results the same as what they promise the results will be on the box. My gums feel really good. My teeth are clean and feel smooth.

Strengths: Uses Ultrasound vibration to clean and stimulate, Timer
Weaknesses: Discontinued product
Summary: This is my second unit since my first battery would not hold a charge after a couple years. Crest has acquired Sonicare, and they are changing the product line- mostly to include their toothpaste products.

Summary: The Sonicare is an unreservedly excellent toothbrush. It is the only toothbrush I've ever tried that leaves my teeth feeling completely clean, and it keeps my gums in better shape than anything else. The only problem with it is cost- you'll not likely find it anywhere for below $65.00, which is steep for any toothbrush.
