Strengths: it's cordless, two speeds, easy to use.
Weaknesses: need to do it over again and again.(sometimes it doesn't get the hair).
Summary: Before i bought this epilator, I usually use tweezer to clean my armpit hair, and my eyes are very tired because of that. Now it is easier with this epilator, and it doesn't hurt at all. Maybe for the first time, people will feel hurt, but after that trust me, you won't feel hurt beside funny tickle feeling. Afterall, I love the epilator because it helps me save my time.

Strengths: Gets out the hair, worth the cost, does a good job.
Weaknesses: Hurts, but not so bad, that it would be a con to not buy.
Summary: 2003-12-30 11:13:54 So I got ready to try it on my legs, first. I did it and I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it tingled I don't even know if I'd say it "hurt". It reminded my of a million little pins pricking my leg, or a million bee stings all in one place at a time. Not quite enjoyable but 100% worth it, in my mind. For the benefit of not having to shave for another few weeks: totally worth it. Now, I do have to continue to say... I decided then, a day later to try my armpits and bikini line. OK, that's another story! Oh yes... that hurts! I took a nice warm shower, like they recommend (to open up those pores) and used the little exfoliator too. But yeah, it still really hurt. I got through both armpits. But it took me quite a long time. It really hurt but when I was done, wow, it was worth it. The epilator got almost every hair and the extra I just pulled out myself. I will for sure do that again. For my bikini line: even as I think back about it I can't even remember just how bad it was. I do know it was pretty bad though. I couldn't even do the whole thing. I got about a quarter of the way down and over. And again, it is totally worth it. It did an amazing job and the part that I did do, is just beautiful. Now all I have to do is gather the courage to just bite the bullet and finish the rest. If you can handle the pain, you'll for sure be pleased. I am!

Strengths: Less painful, comfortable, easy to use.
Weaknesses: A little expensive
Summary: 2004-07-25 08:36:42 Hey this produt is fabulous. It works great on bikini lines and underarms. The first time i tried on my bikini lines i was surprised to see the results. It was less painful compared to waxing. Its really worth buying and even saves lot of money spent on waxing.I would recommend this product to every women who spents thousands of dollars on waxing every month. Well this is what i was looking for since long and my search ends here. How about u? Its time to change from razor to epilation.

Strengths: Not too much pain.
Weaknesses: It doesn't catch all the hair. Requires several try (back and forth) to remove hair.
Summary: This is my wife's comments: The product requires improvement. The two raised sides where the blade is prevents from catching all the hair. For upper lip requires twisting (or pushing with your tongue) so the blade can catch all the hair.

1 Star ReviewEmjoi Epilator: Piece of Junk
Strengths: works ok, for the time it works (a few months)
Weaknesses: costly, poor value, dies early, poor customer service and repair
Summary: This epilator is a piece of junk; mine broke after only three months' use. It's just a well that it broke, I suppose, because it was excruciatingly painful to use.

Many of my friends also have tried Emjoi products, but their Emjoi's also stopped functioning as well after a few months' use.

In short, avoid Emjoi and don't be lured in by Emjoi coupons to entice you to buy their junk. Emjoi simply is a waste of time and money.
