Weaknesses: Very large coffee maker. Expensive. Summary: We just love it. It makes 12 cups of coffee in less than 15 minutes, beeps for 10 seconds when done and turns itself off. My wife just loves the fact than 3-5 hours after the coffee is made, the thermal carafe has kept it hot, and without the burnt taste of re-heated coffee. Strengths: Easy operation, Timer brew, Carafe retains heat very well, Good looking, 1000 Watt High temp brew Weaknesses: The reservoir fill gauge faces the side of the unit, so you can't see it from the front. Summary: We did significant research to find the best coffee maker for the money, and were pretty sure that we were successful with this one. It is a 1000 watt unit which brews at the appropriate temperature for a good cup of coffee. The carafe has a patented lid which allows you to brew and pour without ever removing the lid and letting any heat escape. The coffee is literally still warm over twelve hours after we brew.
