Strengths: This card is a very strong overclocker. Nice price for 256 megs of ram. Come with a quality hardware package.
Weaknesses: Stock setting could be a little faster
Summary: I am kind of familiar with power color because i have purchased two of there products(one for my computer and one for my dads. I have to say that i have had no problems with power colors cards so from my point of view they make quality products.

I first bought the PC 9600 pro with 128 megs of ram but my dad was always playing John Madden in my room so i decided to let him have the card and i would replace it. i decided when i was looking for a new card the 9600 pro 256 was only a few bucks more so i decided to buy that one. When i got it it benched marked only slightly faster than the old one as i though it would. However when i play games such as c&c generals i really notice a difference. I really like this card and my father isnt getting this one.

Anyone who is looking for a fast card without spending a fortune should seriously consider this card

Strengths: Price, 256 mb ddr, speed
Weaknesses: Core speed could be faster...
Summary: The PowerColor Radeon 9600 Pro Video Card is a great card for it's price. I upgraded to this from a Viper V770 Ultra so almost anything would look better, but Warcraft 3 is remarkable. Great, great card for its price.

Strengths: price and lots options
Weaknesses: none yet, slight screen flicker at first on 4 yr old monitor, fixed w/ refresh rates and screen sizing.dont notice now.
Summary: install no problem used original drivers with via 4 in 1 drivers.Came with game pack included tomb raider, the begin part of game plays pretty smooth, its all i've played. The game i play most is fighter aces online and the action is much smoother than gforce2 mx400 64mb was using,no stops or hangs at all now, though old card at least played ok,but pwcolor is nice and my mobo handles 256 mb so shld get some benifit from extra memory, even though most apps you never really use it.dont know if core speed is good or bad but this card seems to be worth its price.no incompatability problems here.

Strengths: None
Weaknesses: The card no longer works after 14 days of ownership
Summary: Yes, you read that right. This card stopped working properly after just over two weeks of ownership. I double checked all software to insure there was no conflicts with the O/S or other software. I replaced the original OEM video card and no problems. This card, if working and functioning operates to my satisfaction. I have since, emailed the distributor and the manufacturer to see how they want to remedy the situation.
