Strengths: Nice cooling unit
Decent vinyl finish
Good value
Weaknesses: Racks seem a little flimsy
Summary: Ordered my Vintage Keeper VP220 Tuscany Plus from a vendor on eBay, got it shipped within 2 days for $1118.39 total. The wine cellar is well built and the assembly instructions were pretty straightforward. All the necessary parts were included and it came boxed well for shipping/handling by a curbside delivery company. Assembly took about a total of 2 hours and was pretty easy, you do not really need any building skills to put this together. Part of the reason that I went with this cellar is because I was able to save a significant amount of money by assembling it myself. After assembly I plugged in the unit and it worked flawlessly, the fan is a little noisy but I am already getting used to it. The cellar is in my living room right now but will be moving to my theater room once I run a another line for the electricity. Make sure you build the cellar where you will eventually keep it, once the chiller is installed it gets quite heavy. The directions recommended having another person assist with the assembly but I was able to do it alone. I currently am using the default setting of 57F degrees for all my wines, I will use the upper rack near the chiller for the whites that I want to keep colder and use sooner. I currently have about 90 bottles but will be adding to the collection after the holidays. For the price difference between the 110 and the 220, I would go with the 220, it is only a couple of hundred dollars more and you double the capacity. Overall I would recommend this product. I went with the cherry finish, not the maple that is mentioned in the heading.
