Strengths: Amazing color LCD screen that really is easily to look at, very cool blue glowing lights on the unit illuminating keys, long battery life, sturdy construction, 8 gbs of memory, easy user interface
Weaknesses: touchy controls (very very sensitive), battery life not as long as advertised, model not as popular as IPOD yet so accessories harder to find, no external battery charger
Summary: I have owned an IPOD and have used other MP3 players. They have all been good, but this unit is the nicest MP3 that I have tried to date. I think the heart of the unit is the OLED screen that can be clearly seen across a room and at an angle. The control and outside lighting of the unit also clearly set it apart from the other systems as well. Couple this with 8 gbs of either MP3 or picture viewing capabilities you have very good start for fantastic MP3 player. In addition to all that you get 15 hour battery life with an easy removable battery. You also get an FM tuner (the Pods do not have), voice recorder. The only two major complaints on this unit is the lower than stated batter life of the unit as well as the overly sensitive controls. I am still looking at an extra battery and external battery charger.
