Onyx is a great choice; it keeps clean. Britax latch system is so easy to use. This booster will grow with your child. Weaknesses: It is very heavy. The car seat is larger than most so measure your seats!! (It fits in our Land Rover just fine) Summary: I am thankful that the Regent will grow with our son. Christian loves his seat and doesn't mind being harnessed unlike typical boosters. I know that he is secure and safe in this seat. Strengths: highest harness slot height/weight currently available, very comfortable & easy to use Weaknesses: HEAVY!! not something you would move often between cars, HUGE & can have installation problems Summary: i bought this seat for my daughter who was growing out of her 65lb limit convertible seat by height at just almost 4 years of age. i needed something that can harness her without a doubt to a safe belt positioning booster age & size. the regent will do that & then some. my almost 9 yo still JUST fits it (no grow room tho). even he is a tall boy. one of the tallest kids in his class. the seat is VERY comfy. my DD falls asleep within minutes of being in the seat. its a very sturdy & well made product. it has lots of comfort foam & epp/eps? foam (bicyle helmet foam) in the seat for the child's protection. it installed well in my 94 gr caravan 2nd row capt chair in the short belt path method. tho some folks have difficulties instlling in other vehicles. plus the manual isn't the easiest to understand. the seat requires difference install methods depending on weight of child & the top tether is REQUIRED after 50lbs (40lbs if using a lap/shoudler belt instal). if you can try before you buy i'd suggest it Was this review helpful or unhelpful for you? hops612 Member Since: Jan 2008 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 1 Week	Regent Onyx Booster Car Seat Strengths: 5-point harness, can accommodate heavier weight/older child, so will be able to use for longer time Weaknesses: Had some difficulty securing the car seat tightly enough - because of its size it does not fit flat again seat - had to use tether to tighten car seat at the top Summary: I love that this car seat will accommodate my child up to 100 lbs. I didn't want to use just a regular booster seat with a car seat belt - they just seem so flimsy. This car seat will allow us to use a much safer 5-point harness for a much longer time.
