It’s very compact, comes with a leather case and an extension cable. It’s USB 2.0, fast enough to transfer data in between the drive and you PC. If you are not carrying huge data, such as MP3 or video, this should be a good device. It can hold about 10000 pictures from a 5MP digital camera. Unlike the flash drive (all solid, non-moving parts), this is a mini hard drive, therefore there are moving parts inside the device. And the parts are rotating when it’s in use. It is much more portable than a normal 2.5" external Harddrive. It comes with a nice leather protector. The only problem that I do not like about this product is that the swivel hinge is somewhat flimsy. That is probably the first part to break.
