Strengths: Absolutely plug & play, No software or cables needed Large List of Compatible printers Weaknesses: None Found Summary: I recieved this wireless printer kit and was a little skeptical as I had trouble with compatability with other printer servers. Also my Printer which was a brand new Lexmark Z715 was not on the list,but I took a chance being the Lexmark Z705 was and I thought possibly the List wasn't up to date.I had nothing to worry about as it worked perfect right out of the box. All I did was plug one adapter in my usb port on my wireless laptop, plug in the other in my usb printer power up the printer and I was immediately printing away. Strengths: small, relatively easy to install Weaknesses: extremely bright blue flashing light...don't put it in your bedroom or you won't be able to sleep. Summary: If I can do it you can do it. I am technologically retarded and I got it to work after a few tries. My printer wasn't on the list but since it is a new model I took a chance. The instructions that come with the unit aren't that great but I went straight to their website and was able to download the driver I needed without a hitch. It is less expensive and takes up much less space than than the Linksys thing the guy at Best Buy tried to sell me. All in all I'm pleased. I use a Canon inkjet printer and all I did was plug the wireless device into the USB port as directed and start printing. Its that simple. Weaknesses: None that I have found Summary: If I had more than one printer I would put this device on all of them. Thanks to the Ambicomn I can now place my printer behind me on the credenza and don't have to have wires running from my desk across the floor and behind me. It frees my office of all the clutter of wires or having to have the printer set on my desk. I have not noticed any reduction in print speed or capibility. I wish someone had told me about this product before. I recommend it to anyone who uses an inkjet printer and who would like the freedom of being able to place the printer at their convenience and not where a wire will reach.
