Salton George Forman GGR50 In/Out Door Electric Grill

Superb appliance

Strengths: Big cooking surface and easy to clean, easy assembly

Weaknesses: None I found so far

Summary: I bought this after we had vinyl siding installed at our house in the back, and the installer told us to keep the gas grill remotely away from the siding as the heat will melt the siding. I needed something else to replace the gas grill, and found this one at Costco. I was skeptical at first because I was so used to a gas grill, but I was amazed at the ease to set up and to clean the unit, plus to cook a meal for a family of five in one cooking due to its big cooking surface. The food turns out very juicy and not burnt. (I have kids and this is very important) I heard a lot of people like the George Foreman grills, but I think this is the best one by far.

George Foreman Stand Grill

Strengths: Price, brand quality, customer service

Weaknesses: Part broke upon assembly

Summary: 2007-10-15 20:41:55 When this shipped the part of the lid that attached to the grill itself arrived broken. I called customer service and they were very friendly and helpful, send the broken part(s) right out.

That said I love cooking on this grill, there is nothing to dislike, except as other reviewers have stated the stand itself is unstable and needs to be modified. We'll see how durable it is and how it holds up.
