Weaknesses: Difficult to put back in the charger. Will not hold a charge. Difficult to open cans.
Summary: I purchased 2 Gizmos, one for myself and one for my mother who has arthritis in her hands. The product works poorly and cans are difficult to open. Lining up the cutter on the can is like any other can opener.
I liked the idea of it being rechargable. Now that I have owned it for a year it doesn't recharge and neither does my mother's.
The holder in which Gizmo fits is very clever. It is small and easy to keep out of the way. It is hard to put Gizmo back in so the rechargers are connected. It will look as if Gizmo is in properly but when you try to open a can all you get is that run down battery sound.
I would not recommend this product and am very disappointed because every other Black and Decker product I own works exceptionally well.
